    Mental Health Assessor- Casual


    We are seeking a Casual Mental Health Professional to conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments in support of our outpatient mental health clinics.

    This position is designed for maximum flexibility and will perform remotely through our secure telehealth platform.

    Days and hours are also flexible and can change weekly based on clinic demand and Assessor availability; Weekday, evening and weekend hours are available per Assessor preference.


    Schedule:
    FTE Monday - Friday dayshift, evenings or weekends per candidate preference.

    Hiring Range:
    $ $38.46 hourly, plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

    Main Job Duties:

    • Responsible for the development and implementation of client mental health services, ensuring documentation standards are met and addressing emergency situations as needed while demonstrating sound decision-making, discretion and problem solving skills at all times.
    • Actively participate in the mental health services providing leadership, sharing of clinical expertise with other team members and advancing the reputation of services provided.
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations/diagnostic assessments and refer to appropriate services/programs
    • Act as an advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
    • Conducts ongoing assessments of clients to assure treatment interventions match current functioning and needs.
    • Communicate treatment interventions and methods as appropriate to ensure the plan is implemented as noted. This involves regularly evaluating the treatment plan for its effectiveness and collaborating with the client to amend as needed.
    • Participates in team meetings and processes for communication concerning clients. Participates in clinical supervision team meetings as required, providing team with thorough, timely, legible, accurate and objective information
    Requirements


    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in the behavioral sciences
    • Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of post-licensure experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience providing diagnostic assessments, functional assessments and/or comprehensive evaluations.
    • Experience serving individuals with co-occurring disorders (MH/CD).
    • Experience in culturally competent practice with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
