    Twin Vee PowerCats is a boat manufacturing company located in Fort Pierce, Florida. We have been building boats for over 30 years and we are known for building the Best Riding Boats on the Water. Our Twin Vee vessels feature Twin Hull Technology for a smooth ride, we recently acquired a second brand named AquaSport Boats and Forza X1 is our electric division that is currently designing and producing an affordable, family friendly electric boat with an outboard motor. The company is expanding its main Florida facility to 100,000 feet and we have a second facility under construction in Marion North Carolina.     Opportunity

    Reporting to and working closely with the President / CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key leader in leading operations as well as developing and executing strategic objectives. To be successful as the COO, you are known for adeptly tracking performance metrics and excelling in creating agile operational systems adaptable to fast-paced growth. As a confident and data-driven decision-maker, you also have a strong background in managing relationships with external stakeholders, contributing to organizational success.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the key liaison to the Leadership Team, CEO and Major stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to transform and improve efficiency, quality, profitability, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
    • Identify opportunities to scale and expand existing engineering, project management, and sales organizations
    • Oversee the procurement, supply chain, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and sales
    • Develop annual budget, in collaboration with the leadership team and manage day-to-day operations to the annual budget
    • Create KPIs to track operational performance and communicate performance to President and Board of Directors
    • Establish best practices and standard operating procedures

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
    • Proven record of accomplishment of success in a COO/VP of Operations/or similar
    • Demonstrated success in transforming/improving industrial manufacturing process
    • Strong financial acumen with prior P&L management in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams across multiple locations/states
    • Willing/able to be onsite
