We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or catering environments. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals while ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences.
- Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods within a kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation processes.
- Experience in fine dining or catering settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
