Objective and Purpose:
As a Tax Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax department by handling administrative tasks related to Federal Income Tax, Property Tax, Sales & Use Tax, and Payroll Tax.
Your responsibilities will include sorting, scanning, organizing tax documents, verifying and updating practice information, resolving discrepancies, assisting with tax payments, conducting tax research, and providing support for various other tax-related tasks.
Primary Responsibilities :
Sort, scan, and organize tax returns, notices, tax bills, work papers, and other documents for the practice's location.
Verify and update practice status and information internally and externally.
Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate tax reporting.
Assist in processing payments for certain taxes.
Monitor the Tax Inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.
Contact taxing authorities as needed to address issues or obtain information.
Assist with check requests related to tax payments and other financial transactions.
Conduct tax research to support tax planning and compliance efforts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2 years of experience in tax administration or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the healthcare industry.
Experience in NetSuite, , Concur platforms.
Experience in multi-site environments.
MBA preferred.
Certified Public Accountant status highly desired.

Salary:
$150,000 to $160,000 / annum
