    Job Description:

    The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in the healthcare setting, designing and implementing physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part.

    • Stay up-to-date with growth and development principles for various patient populations, incorporating this knowledge into their care.
    • Attend patient care coordination meetings, team conferences, and family meetings as needed.
    • Create comprehensive written evaluations for patients' charts using objective information and concise language.
    • Maintain an organized schedule, meet deadlines, and provide comfort and supportive care to patients while ensuring their privacy and safety.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's Degree or Physical Therapy Certificate (Master's Degree or Doctorate preferred)

    Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

    Licenses: Physical Therapist, Licensed in the state of Virginia

    Experience: Preferred experience in a healthcare environment
