    The Barback Role

    Overview:

    • This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in the Restaurant environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Stock bar items daily and fill ice bins as needed.
    2. Anticipate needs throughout the shift.
    3. Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized.
    4. Report timely to work and be prepared to start at the designated time.
    5. Abide by operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
    6. Ensure prompt, quality service is provided.
    7. Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards.
    • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
    • Must be able to read, speak, and write English language.
    • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Two to three years of experience working in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant.

    Safety Expectations:

    Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete company-wide safety training.
