- Oversee, coordinate, and manage construction projects in the field ranging from $1-5 million, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Foster effective teamwork among project team members in collaboration with the PM including architects, engineers, laborers, subcontractors, and clients. Promote a culture of cooperation and mutual respect.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, designers, and owners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project expectations.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Proactively address and resolve any safety concerns on the job site.
- Work with the Project team to develop comprehensive project controls.Utilize ComputerEase and Smartsheet to manage these aspects.
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites, identify potential issues or delays and make the necessary adjustments to the construction plan.
- Manage stages of the construction process, understanding the intricate interconnectedness of various trades. Make key decisions considering all relevant factors, especially when it involves coordination of different teams.
- Manage the submission of RFIs and submittals, ensuring timely responses and execution.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making with regard to project plans and specifications. Identify potential areas for improvement in current methodologies.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, potential challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Prepare and present project reports to relevant stakeholders, keeping them informed about the project status and any significant issues that may arise.
- Cultivate a high-performance team by hiring, training, and developing team members, assessing performance, and giving constructive feedback.

Our client, a well-established General Contractor (GC) specializing in healthcare and commercial projects, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate understands how trades interconnect and is familiar with ACA-inspected projects. You should possess a strong passion for building and have some tech-savvy, as the company utilizes technologies like ComputerEase for RFIs and submittals, a cloud-based drive for storage, and Smartsheet for Gantt chart creation. The main importance here is to be a superintendent that has come up from the trades. A true understanding of what it takes to build, not only what it takes to report & manage is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role.
Knowledge and experience in healthcare and commercial projects.
Understanding of the construction industry and trades.
Familiarity with ACA-inspected projects. - HIGHLY PREFERRED
Some Tech-savvy, with proficiency in ComputerEase, Smartsheet, and cloud-based drives.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Bilingualism is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range is $70K to $95K depending on experience.
7 holidays + one floating holiday per year.
One week of paid vacation.
