    Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for an Information Research Specialist position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

    Salary: $32/hr – $37/hr

    Location: Onsite

    Citizenship: US citizenship Required

    Work Schedule: 5-8s

    Clearance: Q clearance/Top Secret Required

    Impact

    This project aims to decommission the vault room by the end of day, cataloging and digitizing approximately 6,000 linear feet of historical paper technical reports. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the preservation and accessibility of these valuable resources.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Review collection contents for classification and indexing purposes

    Catalog and prepare published technical information in print format

    Check for digital copies in trusted repositories (e.g., , )

    Conduct searches following well-established procedures

    Recognize classification markings and potential issues

    Place materials in boxes, inventory, and palletize for shipping

    Lift and handle boxes weighing up to 25 lbs repeatedly

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Ability to lift and handle boxes weighing up to 25 lbs

    Comfortable working on feet for extended periods

    Desired Skills:

    Strong attention to detail

    Inventory and data entry experience
