WAGE RANGE: $25.50 – $28.10

JOB SUMMARY  

Works closely with Property Management and Resident Services to ensure vacancies are filled. Ensure that applications and residential processes are followed, and residential data is accurate.  Assists potential residents with necessary eligibility paperwork at intake and throughout tenancy to facilitate timeliness, program compliance, and housing stability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Develops a strong understanding of program funding sources, housing best practices, and Catholic Charities leasing and eligibility management processes
  2. Develops and maintains an up-to-date knowledge of Tax Credit, HUD, and other necessary requirements to determine resident eligibility
  3. Coordinates with case managers to schedule intake meetings for potential residents. 
  4. Assists potential residents with the application process by explaining all applicable forms. Ensures applications are accurate and complete.
  5. Coordinates the receipt of all necessary documentation to determine program eligibility
  6. Coordinates with the Director of Leasing on compliance review and file approval
  7. Seeks guidance from supervisor when needed to ensure file accuracy and documentation compliance. 
  8. Facilitates move-in and lease signing with residents and case managers
  9. Creates and maintains resident files to include all required paperwork.
  10. Completes recertifications as required by the program.
  11. Enters client information into a variety of databases in accordance with the program requirements.
  12. Creates and maintains positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  13. Ensures accurate reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in affordable housing, leasing, or related.
  • Experience with data management systems, property management software (YARDI), and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
