    Description

    Our client is a luxury hotel in Boston, MA. They are seeking a motivated hospitality professional to join the team as an Assistant Hospitality Manager.

    Please Note: This position requires flexibility to work early morning and late night shifts (e.g. 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM).

    Job Details

    • Act as an overall hospitality and customer service resource
    • Assist guests with check-in and check-out
    • Problem-solve guest issues and ensure satisfaction
    • Manage reservations and administrative tasks
    • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure room inventory is maintained to the highest standard
    • Manage shift schedules and ensure coverage for various positions
    • Prepare financial reports and manage cash
    • Oversee inventory and equipment statuses and place economical orders
    • Some responsibilities related to the hotel restaurant
    • Salary Range: $65-70k annually, based on experience

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or retail environment
    • Experienced in managing a team of 15+ people
    • Familiar with and able to advise guests on local restaurants and attractions
    • Personable and dedicated to customer service
    • Punctual, reliable, and professional, with excellent sense of follow-up
    • Able to troubleshoot and think on your feet to resolve issues as they arise
