    Description
    Maintenance Technician needed in Round Rock Texas

    Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintenance Technician A must have the ability to identify any safety hazards and communicate with Facility Manager on a corrective action plan.
    • Performs regular preventive maintenance inspections and service on all facility equipment machines.
    Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.

    • Ability to Identify the cause of unexpected breakdowns of facility equipment and machinery to help improve KPI's.
    • Assists and coordinates with Facility Manager and Production Manager to schedule any regular or routine maintenance without jeopardizing production down time.
    • Identify proper parts that need to be ordered to repair facility equipment.
    Communicate and assist Facility Manager on proper parts that are needed to order. Ability to install replacement parts for all facility equipment and machinery.

    • Performs precision maintenance using instrumentation tooling to set proper calibration on facility equipment.
    Also proper hand tools to disassemble and repair facility equipment safely.

    Must be able to make necessary modifications and perform tests runs to ensure equipment is calibrated and performing properly. Communicates with Facility Manager regarding results and makes additional repairs to machinery as required.

    • Ability to use all power tools and different hand tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
    Assist with administrative duties related to building maintenance

    • Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to understand applicable policies and procedures and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment for everyone.
    • Ability to follow instructions through a standard work process. Ability to perform routine tasks. Ability to check work for accuracy before completion of tasks.
    • Troubleshoot machinery and PLC.
    • Demonstrates a designated level of technical skill or knowledge in multiple technical and mechanical area(s). Using precision instrumentation and hand tools.
    • Working knowledge of mechanical and general schematic readings.
    • Intermediate PC skills for manufacturing.
    • Working knowledge of 6S and lean principles.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
