Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in Level 1 Trauma and Epic charting for a weekday, day-shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a radiology department performing CT and general X-ray imaging
• Adult patient population with Level 1 Trauma exposure
• Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
• Use of Epic EMR for charting is required
• Performs comprehensive CT and radiographic procedures, including image acquisition, case review, and contrast administration
• Responsible for radiology order review, patient history assessment, and maintaining imaging quality standards
• Transfers and verifies images and patient data within PACS and RIS systems
• Reports equipment malfunctions and maintains orderly, safe work environment
• Assists in instruction of new staff and students as needed
• No local candidates accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies
• Return travelers must have a 6-month break if previously assigned for over one year
• RTO (requested time off) must not exceed 7 days during a 13-week contract
• Scrub attire requirements not specified

Requirements

• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• IEMA Radiography License required for Illinois
• Minimum of one year recent CT and trauma radiology experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to perform venipuncture and administer IV/oral/rectal contrast
• License required if applicable
