    Summary:

    The Senior Financial Analyst position primarily works closely with the Manager, Treasury Services to support the Corporate Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Global Car Plans functions, but may also provide assistance to other sectors within the Treasury organization. #

    Schedule & Location:

    This is an exempt, office-based position in Johnston, Rhode Island. The schedule requires the employee to work on-site four days per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday 40 hours per week with flexible start and stop times based on business needs. Employees must work on-site, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and either Tuesday or Friday may work remotely.

    • Serves in a lead role on cross functional projects and initiatives. Examples of such workstreams may include system development/deployment, system enhancements, augmentation of existing business processes and internal controls, etc.
    • May lead research efforts on planned Treasury related regulatory, accounting standard or organizational changes to understand how those changes will impact FM Global's business processes and financial reporting.
    • These efforts also involve the identification of opportunities for business process and internal control enhancements and increased efficiencies.
    • Periodic support of daily Treasury department-oriented production efforts will be required (i.e., review of payables transactions, performance or review of reconciliations, monthly/quarterly analyses, etc.).
    • May be required to provide occasional functional oversight, guidance, and direction to less experienced team members.

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree

    Highly Preferred Education:

    • CPA, CIA, CMA or CFA Designation(s)/Certification(s)
    • Advanced Business Degree

    Required Work Experience:

    • 7+ years of relevant experience

    Highly Preferred Work Experience:

    • 10-12 years of relevant experience

    Required Skills:

    • The ability to communicate and manage change incident to the aforesaid efforts.
    • Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Advanced analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated advanced project management skills with ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good presenter.
    • Ability to analyze large data sets, define parameters and identify trends or patterns.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, non-routine environment where priorities may be fluid.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
    • Basic Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
    • Strong ownership and follow-through.

    Highly Preferred Skills:

    • Change management skills are a plus.
    • Knowledge of Peoplesoft or similar ERP systems is a plus.

    The hiring range for this position is $114,300-$164,200 annually. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
