    **Description**

    Reports to: Caf Manager

    Position Summary: The Lovett School, an independent K-12, day school in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Caf Team Member to begin January 2022. Working as part of our customer-facing team you will ensure that high quality food and drink are prepared and served to Caf and catering customers from a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Friendly, cheerful, positive and motivating with all customers and tasks.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Prepare and serve food, making coffee and other grab and go food items.

    Taking customers food and beverage orders.

    Operate cash register and point of sale system.

    Participate in stocking and merchandising retail items and assist in putting away new stock.

    Ensure the Caf is fully stocked and can fulfill menu at all times. Notify manager of any shortages.

    Clean Caf areas and ensure they are safe and hygienic at all times.

    Provide backup to other Caf employees.

    Assist management with other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements:

    High school education required.

    Basic Mathematical Skill required.

    Food production experience preferred.

    Proven oral and written communications skills required.

    Willingness to be a team player and contribute in all areas of the operation.

    Ability to multitask using organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

    Exhibit professionalism.

    Knowledge of TOAST POS software a plus.

    ServSafe certification preferred.
