Landing Gear Design Engineer - Seattle, WA area - 2007
Our client in the Seattle, WA area who is a global leader in manufacturing and overhauling aerospace structures, systems, and components and is looking for a Landing Gear Design Engineer responsible for providing support for their Company.
Position purpose/core responsibilities:
Main Duties:

• Landing gear structural design and spatial integration.
• Detail design of landing gear structural elements.
• Kinematic layout of landing gear mechanisms.
• Design of shock absorbers.
• Integration of steering, braking and actuation systems.
• Interfacing with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Landing gear design experience.
• 3-D modeling (Solid works and/or CATIA experience).
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, WORD, MS Power Point, MS Project).
• Ability to support customer in spatial integration.
• Assertive team player who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a team environment and works well with others.
• 10 years' experience minimum in related field.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
