Job Overview: We are currently seeking two highly skilled Applications Engineers to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This role is ideal for individuals who have a high-level academic background (minimum of a Master's degree, PhD preferred) and have experience in product-driven engineering roles. The successful candidates will be involved in extensive lab activities and must have a strong track record of working with and developing engineering solutions for products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive laboratory testing and analysis to evaluate product performance under various scenarios.

Collaborate with product development teams to integrate applications engineering insights into product design.

Develop technical documentation and product manuals for internal and external use.

Provide expert technical support to customers and sales teams, helping to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Participate in cross-functional teams to improve product design based on feedback from field applications.

Conduct training sessions for staff and clients on new products and technologies.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve product offerings and practices.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field is required; PhD strongly preferred.

Proven experience as an Applications Engineer in a product-driven environment.

Strong laboratory and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of engineering principles and product development.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Proficient in using various engineering tools and software for simulation and analysis.
