Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a reputable school district in Flemingsburg, KY. This is a full-time onsite position focused on providing essential speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities:

For SLP:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

For SLPA:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions.
• Work closely with students to support their communication goals under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Collaborate with the SLP and other team members to ensure effective therapy implementation.
• Maintain documentation of therapy sessions and student progress reports as directed.

Qualifications:

For SLP:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Kentucky state SLP licensure and certification
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

For SLPA:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field (SLPA certification preferred)
• Active Kentucky state SLPA licensure or willingness to obtain
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Duration and Schedule:

This position is for the current school year and requires a commitment to a full-time schedule during standard school hours.
