    Job Description:

    • Work with IT & Business Test Manager and other Test Analysts to plan and track testing tasks, plan, traceability, Quality Center updates, daily status reporting
    • Coordinate with the project workstreams and application teams in the creation, maintenance and execution of test cases and end to end business scenarios
    • Ensure requirements traceability to test cases and test results
    • Communication of test metrics for Testers, Coordinators, Project Managers, Vendors, Lines of Business and IT and Business Test Manager
    • Escalate testing defects, problems, and issues to Project Manager and Vendor Test Manager for timely resolution
    • Perform other testing duties as assigned
    Additional Skills:


    Primary Responsibilities:


    • Reviews and validates test requirements and technical specifications
    • Develops and executes test cases based on test requirements and/or business feedback and prioritization
    • Documents test results on JIRA; offer observations after analysis of test results
    • Retest defect fixes and document test results
    • Communicates professionally at all levels
    • Adhere testing tasks under tight deadlines
    • Supports JIRA efforts
    Essential Skills:


    • At least + yrs in quality assurance experience in Waterfall and Agile Development environments
    • Good knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Software Development Methodologies
    • Minimum + yrs experience with JIRA
    • Experience with API and application testing (minimum + yr)
    • Experience with integration testing between applications (minimum + yr)
    • Experience with Test data management (minimum + yr)
    • Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
    • A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the project team
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
    Good to have Skills:


    • Understanding of Application Integration
    • Industry experience in Financial systems, Automotive
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Familiarity with SharePoint (ability to create site collections, sites, and lists at a minimum)
    • Familiarity with performance testing
    • A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
