- Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for psychiatric patients.
- Assist physicians during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations.
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions and Medication Education group sessions.
- Administer medication according to physician orders.
- Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Help achieve continuity of patient care by exchanging information with other health professionals.
- Attend patient care conferences and communicate regularly with the Program Director.
- Stay updated on changes and trends affecting nursing care and LPN functions.
- Comply with infection control and employee health standards.
- LPN License with psychiatric experience preferred.
- Must maintain CPR and CPI certification.
