    Position OverviewQinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement of aerial target systems, subsystems, and related equipment for the Threat Systems Management Office in Huntsville, AL.

    Responsibilities

    Works with the engineering team, utilizing the principles, theories, and general body of knowledge of mechanical engineering to support the design, development, and manufacturing of new aerial target systems.

    Supports the development cycle of QinetiQ's products.
    Provides professional electrical engineering services to external customers.

    Required Qualifications
    B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.
    3+ years of hands on experience in the design, development and production of aeronautical systems and subsystems.
    Active DOD Secret or higher clearance. #qinetiqclearedjob

    Preferred Qualifications
    Knowledge of military standards in system and subsystem development.
    Knowledge of aerial target systems.
