    Essential Functions

    • Use critical thinking and judgment in patient care. Provide treatment based on national, departmental, and evidence-based standards.
    • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Submit required paperwork for billing and authorizations.
    • Demonstrate initiative in professional development and complete required education.
    • Provide supervision according to state, federal, and professional association standards.
    • Incorporate patient, family, and caregiver education into treatment planning.
    • Comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Additional Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
    • Certification: Physical Therapist (PT) license from the South Dakota Board of Physical Therapy.
    • Preferred Education: Master's degree in Physical Therapy.

    Physical Requirements

    Very Heavy work requiring over 25 pounds of force constantly, and/or more than 50 pounds frequently, and/or more than 100 pounds occasionally, and/or more than 100 pounds seldomly. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues. Requires ability to work designated shift lengths, including night shifts or occasional irregular hours.
