Job Description:
We are looking for a Chemist 1 to support new product development under the direction of a technical supervisor. With some guidance and supervision, incumbent will perform a variety of experiments and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.


Responsibilities:
Performinga variety of experiments and operating laboratory equipment and instruments.
Preparing samples for further analytical testing.
Preparing necessary solutions and mixtures.
Additional testing as required, particle size, density, moisture content.

Interface with sales teams and customers as needed to learn and understand customer needs and drivers for new product development.

Stay abreast of new developments and technologies in the field.
Compilation of data generated from testing results using Word and Excel.
Strict adherence to internal safety policies and procedures.
Creation of some testing solutions may involve lifting40 Lbs. or less containers.
Some technical writing will be required


Qualifications:
BS or AS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry

Candidates with 1 + years of experience are encouraged to apply LCMS Experience preferred

Ability to use Word and Excel

Ability to work safely and within clients safety protocols by following an SOP.
