    Our Financial Institutions Group delivers trusted advisory services, helping clients assess opportunities, manage risk, and drive stakeholder value. We are seeking an Audit Associate/Senior Audit Associate to join our team in Troy, MI.

    Responsibilities:

    • As a member of our engagement team, you will serve financial institutions such as community banks and credit unions.
    • You will prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, audit programs, and other relevant materials.
    • Review and analyze client internal controls to identify potential issues.
    • Communicate with clients daily and work closely with them to develop risk assessments, recommendations, and project implementations.
    • Maintain active communication with your team and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.

    Senior Audit Associate Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and support to Audit Associates and Interns.
    • Participate in firm activities, including recruiting, in-house training, and the Buddy program.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
    • CPA License is preferred, but not mandatory for the Audit Associate role.
    • Audit Associate: 1-2 years of current experience in audit practice, pursuing CPA License.
    • Senior Audit Associate: 3-5 years of current experience in audit practice, obtained or actively pursuing CPA License.
    • Financial institution industry experience is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Ability to work independently and travel up to 10-15%.
