Description

Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Mill machines (Mazak and/or Toyoda)

Review work order, pull necessary equipment, position work piece and operate various machines through production runs to form specified quantities to defined tolerances.

Deburr parts as needed.
Perform in process part inspection and notify Supervisor of non-conformance.
Communicate with managers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
Document outstanding issues either written or verbally to ensure smooth transition between shift

Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.

Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
Vertical Mills and CNC Lathes.
Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (Monday through Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am)

3 years setting up and operating CNC Horizontal Mill Machines, required.
Previous experience setting up and operating Mazak and/or Toyoda Mill Machines preferred
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawing
Ability to perform various machining operation in accordance with part specifications.
