About the Role:
Looking for a frontend web developer with a deep empathy for students and with a keen interest in creating high-quality learning tools.
This person will be expected to work alongside a team of developers, product manager, and authors to deliver new learning tools, and new features and improvements to existing ones for students of various disciplines.
How you will make an impact:
Develop amazing learning tools via many small iterations, and simple yet robust code
Completed bachelor's (or higher) degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar
Experience in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and creating applications for the web
Familiarity with git, UI/UX design, and the modern web
Passion for helping students learn quickly and effectively
Excel in a remote setting:
Takes initiative and has excellent communication skills
Highly disciplined, and excited to learn, develop, and improve skills
Adapt by moving across multiple features within our applications and to troubleshoot/solve problems as needed
What we look for:
Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring others
Experience writing JavaScript automated tests with Qunit/Junit
Experience with , Sass, and Tailwind CSS
Proficient in best practices for building accessible and responsive web applications
