About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazos, TX.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

• Attend all committees pertinent to the administration of the department.
• Represent the department staff as necessary to establish and reinforce a positive reputation in providing quality care and quality employment, such as developing and presenting briefings at hospital or department meetings.
• Coordinate patient and customer complaints, inquiries and requests for information which are outside the normal operating procedures of the division with the appropriate department or as liaison to the Hospital Representative.
• Plan budgets, programs special projects, review ongoing expenditures and provide recommendations on the reallocation of funds and resources based upon the shifts in goals and objectives.
• Perform cost/benefit analysis regarding equipment or personnel acquisitions.
• Prepare reports, statistical surveys and budget requests in addition to other data necessary for the administration of the department and its clinics.
• Closely work with leadership and other staff members to create a positive working environment for employees.
