- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare business office setting with working knowledge of the prior authorization process
- Detailed understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and medical terminology
- Familiarity in oncology and/or NextGen is highly desirable
- Familiar with NCCN Guidelines pertaining to Medical Necessity
- Experience in oncology preferred, but not required
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills.
