    BGE, Inc has an opening on team for an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) - Land Development / Civil Engineering for the Land Development team in our North Austin, TX Office (Louis Henna Blvd) but has some hybrid flexibility as needed.

    Responsibilities


    Member of the Land Development Team focusing on specifications for multi-family, residential, master planned, mixed-use, and commercial, and other types of projects that include paving, grading, drainage, water lines, sanitary sewers and other miscellaneous items.

    Projects will include a variety of land development civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

    Participate in the Construction Administration process by responding to RFI, reviewing Contractor Submittals, and attending meetings in the field.
    Works well in a team-oriented environment.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
    Registered E.I.T in Texas (Passed Fundamentals of Engineering FE Exam)
    1-3 years' work experience
    Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
    Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
    Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
    Ability to work independently and as a team
    Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and Word.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Experience serving working with multiple municipalities.
    Experience working on projects for cities, counties, and municipalities is preferred.
