About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical exams, and health risk assessments.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, including minor injuries, diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Provide preventive care, including annual wellness visits, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on lab work, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and create individualized treatment plans adhering to state regulations.
• Perform routine in-office procedures based on training and comfort level, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and behavioral health resources as necessary.
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the EHR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team huddles/case reviews.

Qualifications

• Active APRN licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Florida.
• Graduation from an accredited NP program (MSN or DNP).
• National certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant board certification).
• Current BLS certification (ACLS certification preferred based on setting).
• DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) and prescriptive authority as per state requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a dedication to compassionate care.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine (new graduates considered based on role).
• Experience in value-based care, population health, or quality metrics.
• Comfort serving diverse patient populations and managing complex comorbidities.
• Spanish proficiency or experience working in multilingual communities (varies by location).
• Experience in telehealth services.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is located in an outpatient clinic setting, generally operating during weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends depending on the role. You will work within a team-based model alongside physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff to manage patient volumes and visit types, including preventive care and urgent care needs.
