    SUMMARY

    The Regional Clinical Director – CVS/DMS will work to facilitate the efficient operation of the Business Development and Integration team by performing a variety of managerial, administrative, and support tasks for the CVS/DMS programs in their assigned region. The Regional Clinical Director – CVS/DMS works directly under the direction of the Program and Clinical Development Director.     Responsibilities



    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare contract reports, track communication, and streamline and enhance clinical development processes.
    • Understand CVS/DMS clinical programs and how program and clinical directors can best collaborate with clinical partners in order to grow the business.
    • Research clinical sites, services offered, existing partnerships. This function involves planning long- and short-term objectives for the organization. In researching clinical sites, the Regional Director will determine whether there are opportunities for existing programs (this will help meet short-term objectives of procuring additional clinical sites) and new programs (this will help meet long-term objectives of procuring clinical sites for new starts)
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Internal: Clinical Directors, Extern Coordinators, Program Directors, Deans. External: Hospital Clinical Educators, Department Directors, Contract Analysts, Office Managers, Administrators. This collaboration will affect the organization's operations to a substantial degree. This person will listen to all stakeholders needs and concerns to identify undiscovered business opportunities in their assigned region for DMS/CVS programs.
    • Identify existing number of contracts for each program, affiliated site locations, active versus inactive contracts, and communicate status of clinical partnerships as well as any programs on the watch list.
    • Build and maintain clinical site databases. This directly relates to the running or services of the "business." This function involves procuring additional clinical sites which affects the number of students that can be enrolled in a program. It also involves maintaining the database containing all communications with clinical sites in their assigned region.
    • Identify and engage in development opportunities. This responsibility requires discretion and independent judgement on matters of significance. When researching development opportunities with potential clinical sites, the Regional Director will need to determine which programs may benefit from a clinical partnership. Additionally, the Regional Director will need to identify whether there are also B2B opportunities and then make the connection to AVP Strategic and Community Partnerships. Additionally, the Regional Director will determine whether there are opportunities with new CVS/DMS programs in their assigned region, and if so, connect with the Program Development and Implementation Manager to discuss possibilities/opportunities.
    • Coordinate and lead meetings with new potential clinical partners. Prepare presentations for these meetings that will highlight the history of Concorde as well as the program(s) that would benefit from a partnership with these organizations.
    • Work with compliance to ensure affiliation agreements are approved for signature. The Regional Director will also work with clinical partners to obtain final signature.
    • Coordinate with Deans and Campus Presidents in their assigned region to determine maximum number of students that can be enrolled, based on the number of clinical affiliation agreements the program has in place.
    • Visit clinical affiliates at regular intervals to ensure that students meet clinical objectives and ensure that all requirements for clinical education in the program are met by every
    • Review and maintain students' records related to immunizations, background checks and drug testing to assure compliance with Concorde and individual affiliate requirements prior to placing students at clinical sites.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program and Clinical Development Director.

    May require significant travel to assigned region/campuses



    Qualifications



    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's Degree required in any field, with a minimum of an Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
    • Minimum credentials of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty certifications in both OB/GYN and Abdominal
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) strongly preferred.
    • Must have 4 years of clinical experience as a sonographer.
    • Must have 2 years of full-time professional experience in each of the areas below. Full-time defined as a minimum of 35 hours per week.

    • Strongly prefer at least 2 years of full-time professional experience in adult cardiac care.
    • Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in clinical site and new program development, three years preferred
    • Experience as a Director of Clinical Education preferred
    • Strong computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and interest in and ability to learn new technology platforms
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
