Key Responsibilities Independently perform computerized axial tomographic scanning, fluoroscopy and general imaging (X-ray) of the head and body, to include IVP, barium swallow, cystograms, and operation of C-arm during surgical procedures, as well as perform a variety of over 500 standard radiographic diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures. Schedules patients for examinations. Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearranges patient priorities to accommodate them. Provide consultation on difficult cases to practitioners in the same or other specialties. Provide teaching to medical practitioners, residents and students on the most complex patients. Perform intravenous cannulation for purpose of IV Contrast injections. Assist physicians and radiologists in the administering of opaque media for prescribed CT scans and radiographic exams. The contractor shall maintain logs in accordance with departmental practice. Contractor shall provide appropriate documentation regarding duties rendered using the Chinle Service Unit's (CSU) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualification Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the specialties
License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in XR
