    KION North America, a leading provider of material handling solutions, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager/Business Partner to join our dynamic team As the HR Manager for our Commercial Organization, you will play a pivotal role delivering end-to-end HR solutions that enable sustainable structures, target culture, and organizational health. Your impact will include headcount planning, hiring and immersion strategies, career development, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, and other special projects.

    This role is located in the beautiful greater Charleston area: Summerville, SC and reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful coaching, strategic consultation, and active development to sales & marketing individuals and leaders
  • Partner with senior leaders to operationalize a target culture and sustainable people strategies (organizational design, change management, talent development, etc.)
  • Facilitate engagement and career development sessions
  • Lead performance management and succession planning activities across sales & marketing teams
  • Actively monitor and consult on KPIs, providing data-centric thought partnership to leaders
  • Translate and administer HR policies, processes, and programs to ensure our business functions thrive across diverse geographies
  • Manage employee relations matters and processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Proactively safeguard the organization by identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring we stay legally compliant and resilient
  • Tasks and Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of progressive, full-spectrum HR experience with demonstrated business partnership
  • Proven experience supporting a fast-paced environment with a proactive and self-directed approach
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable local/country employment laws
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, & Enterprise HCMs (Workday strongly preferred)
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field
