    Description

    An excellent and profitable client of ours is searching for an E H and S Manager that will also have some responsibilities in their quality area.

    The parent company is based in Europe and takes a hands off approach the to US operation.

    Below is a full description but the main focus is on their E H and S work and compliance. The other skills can be learned.

    ISO Coordinator

    • ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 program to maintain certification
    • perform, and participate in internal audits
    • and present annual management review
    • and participate in external registrar and customer audits
    • QEHS manual, process, and procedure documents
    • ISO annual awareness training and new employee orientation

    EHS

    • EHS incidents and findings and ensure effective corrective action is taken
    • periodic inspections of shop equipment, materials, and safety devices
    • periodic third-party service and inspection of EHS-critical equipment
    • with waste collection vendors to ensure proper and timely disposal
    • that required regulatory reports are submitted
    • the local EHS committee monthly meetings
    • EHS annual awareness training and new employee orientation
    • EHS results and findings to upper management

    Quality

    • the quality technician
    • and present periodic reports on customer complaints and supplier performance
    • in quality issue resolution and ensure effective corrective action is taken
    • Quality results and findings to upper management
    • and ensure compliance with industry standards such as NSF/ANSI 61 and AWWA

    Operational Excellence

    • the visual daily management / shop floor management program
    • direction and coaching to the 5S program
    • data and present periodic reports on the OPEX program
    • OPEX results and findings to upper management

    Legal / Trade Compliance

    • as local trade compliance officer
    • import/export regulations as leader of local trade compliance committee
    • awareness and orientation training on corporate legal policies

    ESG

    • and implement ESG strategies aligned with company values and industry standards.
    • ESG metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for upper management
    • updated on ESG trends and regulations to ensure compliance and proactive action
    • required, lead ESG-related training and awareness programs for employees
    • the company in ESG-related requests and activities

    Qualifications:

    Necessary skills:

    Engineering or science degree

    Experience as coordinator and/or auditor of a ISO9001 program

    Proficient in the use of issue/incident investigation, containment, and corrective action

    Experience with supplier quality and performance monitoring

    Understanding of EHS regulations from OSHA, EPA/PADEP, etc.

    Familiarity with industry standards in a technical field

    Proficient with OPEX tools such as VDM/SFM, 5S, and value stream mapping

    Experience as a team or project leader

    Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and SAP, or similar software

    Preferred skills:

    Experience as coordinator or auditor of ISO14001 and 45001 programs, or similar

    Knowledge of valve manufacturing, CNC machining, and/or foundry operations

    Understanding of water industry standards such as NSF/ANSI 61 or AWWA

    Understanding of import/export laws and regulations

    Experience providing training and producing training materials
