The Industrial Automation Specialist will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, installing, and maintaining automated systems and processes within an industrial setting.

The Industrial Automation Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, assess feasibility, and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

System Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing industrial systems and processes to pinpoint automation opportunities.

Collaborate with production and Maintenance to gather requirements and gain a deep understanding of industrial workflow intricacies.

Design and Development:

Develop and implement automation solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies tailored for industrial applications.

Design and program automated scripts, workflows, and processes to optimize industrial operations.
·

Collaborate with industrial engineering and IT teams to seamlessly integrate automation solutions into existing systems.

Testing and Validation:
·

Conduct rigorous testing of automated processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industrial standards.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues and refine automation solutions as needed.

Documentation:
·

Generate comprehensive documentation for all industrial automation processes, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.

Training and Support:

Provide training to industrial end-users and support teams on leveraging automated systems effectively.

Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure the seamless operation of automated processes within an industrial environment.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial automation.

Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation capabilities within an industrial context.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions within an industrial environment.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Proficiency in programming PLC's and HMI's
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on industrial processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of process optimization and workflow analysis within an industrial setting
Experience with Industrial Internet
Certifications in relevant industrial automation technologies.
