    As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You'll bring your analytical and strategic background to work on projects for the Joint Combatant Commands account.

    As a Strategic Competition Planner, your research and analytical skills will bolster execution of Department of Defense implementation guidance, as well as development of joint doctrine, concepts, and assessments that prepare the Joint Force.

    You'll evaluate complex systems, processes, and policies and generate recommendations to enhance Joint Force conceptual understanding and operational effectiveness.

    You'll impact the work we do for the Joint Combatant Commands account and the solutions we deliver to enhance Joint Force development.

    8+ years of experience researching, writing, and providing recommendations pertaining to national security
    8+ years of experience supporting strategic or operational planning as a Strategic Planner at a U.S. military staff, including the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Office of the Secretary of Defense
    Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with senior military and civilian leaders
    Ability to help manage multi-stakeholder forums and capture key outputs for senior leaders
    Top Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree

    Experience with Military Information Support Operations ( MISO )
    Experience with Department of Defense doctrine, education, concept development and experimentation, training, exercises, and lessons learned
    Experience with the Joint Staff Planning Process or the Joint Operation Planning Process
    Experience using Micro sof t Office products
    Master's degree in Security Studies, International Affairs, or Public Policy

    Top Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
