- Assisting in the North Texas accounting month end close process (includes journal entry preparation and posting, income statement / balance sheet reviews, monthly operating report preparation, etc.).
- Assisting in managing the Medicaid supplemental payment programs for North Texas and Louisiana including quality programs, accounting, routine and ad hoc reporting, and annual budgeting.
- Preparing routine and ad hoc financial analysis including analysis of costs, volume, or other key indicators.
- Managing assigned projects and maintaining a high level of performance analysis (from all aspects of data gathering, organizing, and presenting to management).
- Interfacing with various Division leadership regarding financial reporting and data needs and issues.
- Identifying opportunities for streamlining, capturing, and automating data gathering and reporting processes.
- Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual reports and monitoring of trends for Medicaid supplemental payment programs.
- Assisting with annual budget for the North Texas Division and Medicaid supplemental payments programs.
- Working with the Division Finance Leadership team to perform ongoing reviews to ensure achievement of key performance measures.
- Responsible for having a detailed knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and systems, corporate policies and procedures, controls, and other finance program activities
- Performing other related job duties as required.
