    ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists at the Wilmington Hospital is looking for a Senior Medical Assistant.

    ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists at Wilmington Hospital is located at 501 West 14th Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Our Endocrinology team has the experience and expertise to successfully diagnose any endocrine conditions, help develop treatment and management plans for our patients. Endocrinology is the study of hormones and endocrine glands and organs. Hormone-secreting glands and certain organs in your body make up your endocrine system.

    As a senior medical assistant, you will be responsible for the delivering and maintaining quality patient care. You will be assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients with virtual and on-site appointments. You will operate as a team leader and mentor of office staff in the practice to facilitate functions and duties.

    Work Schedule:

    • Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

    Education Requirements:

    • High School Graduate or GED required.
    • 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred.
    • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
