Job summary
The Mental Health Associate II is responsible for providing a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment while providing direct observation for an assigned patient experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or other psychiatric condition requiring close supervision.This position works in conjunction with the Registered Nurse assigned to the patient.

Responsibilities
- Observes assigned patient, maintaining a direct line of vision to the patient at all times and communicates unusual occurrences immediately to the nurse responsible for the patient
- Orients the patient and patent's family to tje facility and he policies an procedures Documents patent care activities
,reporting unsafe conditions,
,implementing safety interventions
and applying appropriate emotional support.
