    Job Title: Focus Group Leader - US Miscellaneous Medical & Life Sciences

    Key Relationships: Brokers, underwriters, other staff, coverholders, external clients, and suppliers
    Description: Are you ready to take on the role of Focus Group Leader in the US Miscellaneous Medical & Life Sciences team at Beazley? This position involves directing and managing the team, executing business plans, and providing expert underwriting counsel within the Healthcare sector. As a key player, you'll be responsible for driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the market reputation of Beazley.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsibility for overseeing the US MMLS focus group, including business planning and underwriting
    • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives in alignment with the head of the Healthcare team
    • Coordinating team efforts to achieve business objectives and profitability targets
    • Monitoring the portfolio and intervening if needed to ensure long-term profitability
    • Ensuring compliance with company, regulatory, and legal standards
    • Providing leadership and guidance to the team on underwriting matters

    • Advising and assisting clients on insurance and risk issues
    • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers
    • Promoting Beazley's product range to clients
    Team Leadership:
    • Leading, supporting, and mentoring the team

    • Providing regular feedback and coaching for continuous improvement
