Cardiology office and Vein Center are looking for full-time Registered Vascular Technologists (RVT) in the Delaware area

Requirements:

RVT Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (ARDMS)Degree from an accredited ultrasound programMinimum 1 year experience as an RVT preferredMust be computer literateExperience with venous reflux studies and radiofrequency venous ablations is a plus, but not necessaryExpected knowledge of Carotid Duplex, Arterial Dopplers and PVR/ABI, Venous Duplex for DVT.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesConsistently performs technically adequate vascular testing proceduresCompletes all vascular-related patient history prior to testingIdentifies and documents appropriate data/information during testing proceduresObtains and records optimal Doppler signals, measurements, & calculationsCollaborate with office Providers, managers and staff on scheduling, reporting and relaying messages to appropriate staff in regards to patient care and concernsClarifies and communicates information and testing specifics to the patient and/or family prior to testingEnsures completeness of required patient data prior to billing and interpretationMaintain a clean and comfortable environment for all patientsPerforming radio frequency ablations using a sterile field and completing all required imaging, documentation and reportingAdheres to all imaging guidelines and patient care protocols and proceduresMaintains established department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, quality, and safety standards.

Adequately enters/imports all patient and test information into EMRDemonstrates compliance with Universal Precautions when appropriateResponsible for preparation and submitting accreditation through IACKeeping vascular room stocked with supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the roomPerforms other duties as assigned by managersJob Types:
