    Description

    O'Neal Industries seeks a seasoned Outside Sales Representative to cover the Grand Prairie, TX territory.

    The primary function of this role is to foster long-term sales relationships with existing and new customers.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Solicit new customers with potential for sustainable growth.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to existing clients.
    • Provide regular updates on daily activities to sales management, including prospecting, account development, and presentations.
    • Develop and execute segment-specific sales programs, encompassing:
      • Account coordination for assigned accounts and business partnerships.
      • Prospecting for new business in high-growth market segments.
      • Promoting deepened business relationships through parallel selling and cost-saving initiatives.
      • Evaluating profit potential across all accounts.
      • Eliminating unprofitable business and transferring responsibility to Inside Sales for low-potential yet profitable accounts.
      • Taking ownership of all O'Neal interactions with assigned accounts.

    The successful candidate will possess:

    • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
    • A minimum of 3 years of prior metal sales experience.
    • Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
    • The ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and internet-based tools.
    • A willingness to travel.

    In addition, strong interpersonal, motivational, negotiating, versatile, organized, and creative problem-solving skills are required.

    General Requirements: The ability to concentrate and maintain productivity in high-pressure situations; working knowledge of O'Neal's general product line; and a valid driver's license are essential.
