    Job Description


    This position is for an Engineering First Line Manager (FLM) to support the Weapons Systems Command and Control (WSC2E) organization that is a part of the Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Engineering & Technology (E&T) organization at the LM Valley Forge site in King of Prussia, PA.

    WSC2E has an established history of providing quality engineers to support software development, integration and testing, and systems engineering activities for the TTWCS (Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System) program and related efforts.

    Selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.


    The selected candidate will be involved in all aspects of functional, programmatic, and technical coordination and execution of the programs their employees support.

    This includes managing content across multiple agile development teams and engaging with functional and program leadership regularly. The focus of the direct reports is currently planned to be systems engineering but this is subject to change.

    The selected candidate will also hold a technical programmatic role in addition to their FLM responsibilities.

    Basic Qualifications

    • In depth knowledge and experience with application of systems engineering, SW testing, and/or software development engineering principles.
    • Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing multi discipline programs
    • Strong and proven understanding of the Engineering development process.
    • Ability to multitask, outstanding effective communication skills, and a strong track record of teambuilding.

    Desired skills

    • Prior experience and knowledge of TTWCS Systems Engineering efforts
    - a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university or equivalent combined education and experience

    • Prior Lead Systems Engineering or project management experience
    • CAM certified, EVM experience
    • Experience and knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working on largescale DoD SW development programs.

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


    Work Schedule Information

    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Colorado Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 .

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.


    Premium Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500.
