Were hiring Tool and Die Makers for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) at a manufacturing company in Cleveland.

Responsibilities of the Tool &

Die Maker:
Construct new tools and dies as required

Review drawings & specifications

Design simple jogs and specifications

Plan and implement order of operations to manufacture

Calculate speeds and feeds

Inspect parts and machine parts to tight tolerances

Repair and maintain production tools and dies

Troubleshoot tooling equipment and repair as needed

Modify dies to conform to engineering changes

Setup and operate machines including drill presses, lathes, milling machines, surface grinders id/od grinder, honing machines, and CNC lathes / mills

Minimum Requirements of the Tool &

Die Maker:

5+ years of experience in a machine shop environment

Experience with CAD & CAM software.

Familiarity with CAM and G code programming.

Must have basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.

Basic math and algebra skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed.

The ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
