    Job Description
    Axle is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to support our business and operational units.

    The individual is dedicated to supporting matters related to strategic business development objectives and analysis of contracts and finances supporting program management.

    The selected candidate will have direct interactions with cross functional leaders, management teams, business developers, and corporate leadership.


    Your responsibilities will include:

    analyzing data in various formats,, building reports and presentations, delivering presentations to leadership, and actively supporting solutions to our business and operational goals.


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Information Technology or other related field, years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree

    1-3 years experience in technical or management consulting a large plus

    1-3 years experience in a scientific/data science or software development oriented environment

    Data analytics and skills in MS Dynamics and Power platforms, Python and/or R (a plus)

    Experience with the following is preferred:
    Scientific/laboratory

    experience

    Business development

    Government contracting

    Higher level education will be considered in lieu of relevant work experience

    Ability to organize and prioritize assigned workload

    Ability to research and analyze data and disseminate results

    Ability to write reports and present findings effectively

    Critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail

    Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct competitive analysis and research identifying key players within the scientific, healthcare, and technology sectors

    Utilize GovWin, GSA eBuy, , and other industry databases to identify potential opportunities

    Research potential strategic partners, subcontractors, and teaming opportunities to enhance competitiveness

    Support development on solicitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for information (RFIs) within the scientific, healthcare, and technology domains

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on opportunities, proposals, and market research

    Collaborate with business and operational units to align business development efforts with the organization's overarching goals

    Identify new market segments and opportunities

    Build and deliver business and technical documentation presentations with various levels of technical detail suited for different target audiences

    Engage with clients and Axle stakeholders to understand typical workflows, gather requirements, and incorporate solution based feedback
