• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) collaborates with a Registered Nurse (RN) and other team members to deliver direct patient care.
• As a part of the Patient Care Team, the LPN is proficient in various patient services, including medication administration.
• Under the guidance of the RN, the LPN carries out age-specific tasks to support patient care.
• All clinical responsibilities are supervised by the RN, who determines the tasks suitable for delegation.
• The LPN also oversees the assignment of nursing duties to non-licensed staff under RN supervision.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current LPN license in the State of Ohio (Licensed Practical Nurse)
• Participation in hospital continuing education, self-assessment, and commitment to professional development through workshops and seminars.

• Completion of orientation program
• Proficiency in computer skills
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred

• Potential periods of high stress and varied workloads
• Typical office environment with moderate noise levels
• Possible exposure to hazardous substances, body fluids, and infectious organisms
• Intermittent interruptions and solitary work periods may occur
