    About the job Senior Tax Accountant

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to lead our tax compliance and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax services. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide strategic tax advice and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
    • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial outcomes.
    • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide timely and accurate advice to clients and colleagues.
    • Assist in resolving tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities, representing clients in audits and appeals as needed.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for all tax-related matters.
    • Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for our clients.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on individual and business tax compliance and planning.
    • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
