    Staff Software Engineer, Linux Platform

    Role

    We are looking for a seasoned Senior Linux Platform C++ Software Engineer to lead the development of software for robotic medical procedures driven by real-time multimodal imaging and sensor data. Collaborate closely with the founders to shape and implement the core software solutions of the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Work alongside clinical, product, and engineering teams to ensure that the software meets user requirements and design standards.
    • Write clean, efficient code in C++ and Python, emphasizing maintainability.
    • Architect core software systems to support robotic functionalities, testing, data logging, and deployment.
    • Develop and maintain testing frameworks to uphold software quality and reliability.
    • Tackle and troubleshoot issues throughout the software stack proactively.
    • Participate in code reviews to promote coding excellence and adherence to best practices.

    Desired Skills and Qualities

    • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Bring 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing software components.
    • Demonstrate expertise in C++ development, software architecture, and knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
    • Have hands-on experience with configuring and managing Linux systems in live environments.
    • Showcase proficiency in developing libraries and shared software modules to improve the software development process.
    • Be familiar with integrating peripheral hardware and devices with Linux platforms.
