- Assist in the preparation, processing, reconciliation, and distribution of payroll for approximately 6,000 multi-state exempt and non-exempt employees in North America.
- Enter data for payroll processing.
- Run, distribute, and review audit reports and analyze results.
- Request funding for off cycle payroll and payroll tax liabilities.
- Reconcile daily liabilities to outsourcing vendor's records.
- Review withholding orders.
- Send orders to third party vendor, via their ticketing/case management site, upon receipt to initiate and maintain orders in Workday.
- Ensure third party vendor has prepared agency responses, respond to inquiries, and manage remittances based on ticket/case resolution.
- Provide complete and accurate responses to routine employee inquiries through case management process.
- Monitor email accounts for payroll.
- Fulfill requests for verifications of employment.
- Review and resolve positive pay decisions and notices of change.
- Review, sort and distribute correspondence from federal, state and local agencies.
- Complete or coordinate the opening, closing or maintenance of employment tax related accounts.
- Support and participate in ad hoc requests, i.e. special projects, metrics and reporting, audit support, controls testing and validation, process documentation/improvements, etc.
- Review and respond to inquiries from our third party vendors.
- Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Support the implementation of business solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen processes and deliverables.
- Hybrid Schedule - 3 days in Office - 2 days at home
- 1st week: Tues - Wed
- 2nd week Wed - Thurs
- Flexibility - can come in by 9 and leave by 2 - finishing day at home.
- 3+ years' experience with Workday is a requirement*
- Possess a working knowledge of the end-to-end payroll process and excel functionality including audit reports, garnishment administration, employee support, and basic payroll tax support.
- Payroll Processing experience.
- 4-7 years of related experience required.
