The Administrative Assistant, Community Services, plays a pivotal role in our department, providing crucial high-level administrative support.
This position is responsible for managing meeting preparations for all five (5) boards and commissions, including packet assembly, arranging location logistics, and taking meeting minutes and memos.
The Administrative Assistant also serves as the department's purchasing and travel liaison, assisting with p-card reconciliation, purchasing items for the department, and coordinating travel and lodging for conferences and training.
Additionally, the Administrative Assistant oversees the department's participation in the Keep Southlake Beautiful program, administering the Adopt-A-Street, Street Tree, and Memorial Tree programs, and ensuring annual requirements are met.
