    Job Title: HR and Office coordinator

    Position Overview:

    As the HR and Office coordinator at A.T. Cross, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operation of our Office as well as key HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of our workforce both in the United States and the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for executing payroll operations, managing benefit accounts, and optimizing our performance management platform. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex HR processes efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Payroll Management:

    • and execute weekly and monthly payroll processes for employees in the US and UK, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • with finance and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
    • updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments to payroll processes accordingly.

    Benefit Administration:

    • benefit accounts, including medical, 401k, and pension accounts, ensuring timely enrollment, updates, and accurate record-keeping.
    • as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
    • with external vendors to evaluate benefit offerings, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness while meeting employees' needs.

    Performance Management:

    • the implementation and maintenance of the performance management platform, driving adoption and utilization across the organization.
    • and refine performance evaluation processes and metrics in alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • guidance and training to managers and employees on performance management best practices and use of the platform.

    Recruiting, onboarding and reporting:

    • our recruiting efforts and manage our Indeed/Monster/Linkedin accounts
    • the onboarding process for new hires with other areas of the organization e.g., Finance, IT
    • compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies in both the US and UK.
    • up-to-date organizational charts for the US, UK, and APAC regions.
    • and submit necessary reports and filings related to payroll, benefits, and other HR functions as required by regulatory bodies.

    Leadership and Collaboration:

    • cross-functionally with departments such as finance, legal, and IT to streamline HR processes and initiatives.
    • as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and employee engagement.

    General office administration:

    • office operations and procedures, including managing records and filing systems
    • travel arrangements and expense tracking

    Qualifications:

    • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • least 3 years of progressive experience in HR management, with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
    • understanding of US and UK employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • with payroll software systems and HRIS platforms; proficiency in UKG or similar payroll systems preferred.
    • analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
